For those tire gurus out there I am asking for a little help. I have a 2006 Softail Deluxe and I am looking at a 19 front with an 18 inch rear.
So here goes, with an 18x4.25 wheel, would you rather run a 50 or 60 mm tire? Is there much of a ride difference between a 50 or 60? Also what tires would you recommend. I have heard good things about the Metzeler Ultra Marathons. The 60 mm tire is also more expensive so just wondering which one would be the better choice. I won't be running a whitewall tire with this setup so don't need to worry about that at least.
Any info would be helpful, I know this has been discussed in the past but wanted to see if there were any updates from guys running this setup.
