Been researching for a week or so and just hoping for some recommendations from you all (getting a little overwhelmed).
I've got a 1992 Softail Custom and the headlight is just way too dim. I'm looking for some advice on what to replace it with. If possible, I'd like to keep the bucket I have on there - it's in good shape and I like how it looks, but if I need a new bucket, then so be it...
LED seems like a great option but I don't want to get crazy with upgrading wiring and whatnot. If I could just put an LED in the current bucket, that would be awesome but I can't seem to figure out if that's possible or not.
If LED isn't possible without upgrading wiring and adding relays, etc.... Then what do you guys like for bulb/lense combos? My lense looks like it might be original and it's starting to yellow so might be nice to replace.
Nice - thanks man. I just wasn't clear on what would/wouldn't fit in the housing and what (if any) wiring changes had to be made.
