i condensed the question the swingarm i am going to use is a custom 250 but the seller said it only fit 2000-2006 i was only concerned about fittment on frame shove the little girl attitude youurs truly uncle bill 1%er

Huh. Failing to see the attitude in that text. But for a 1%er, surely you have some hard core bikers that know a thing or two rather than poking around the likes of an online forum to puff your chest. Heaven forbid someone not at your level hurts your feelings by suggesting that a 250 swing arm wouldn't fit.

Even if it does fit to the frame the primary drive needs to bump out too.

if the swingarm doesn't have an offset like this...you will never get the chain/belt over far enough to clear a 250 tire...
