Default after installing Fuelpack, a concern

Hi guys, I installed a Fuelpack and the S.E. air cleaner along with the Python slip-on's and all seems ok but....I have only ridden it about 300 miles. I have no decel popping likeI have read about. The power seems good or better than before. It does seem, I say seem, to run cooler but no way of telling that for sure. The spark plugs look good but my exhaust tips aren't even starting to turn black. ShouldI not be concerned about it or is it too soon for them to blacken up? They are turning brown but looks like a heat color to me and I called their tech support which leaves a lot to be desired and he assured meI am with the right program. I know some of the negatives of the Fuelpack but seems like every tuner has its issues. I don't want to burn a piston or have anything serious happen. All I want is a little more noise than stock. I am trying to be cautious and perhaps overly cautious but shouldn't the ends of the pipes be starting to blacken by now indicating it is running rich enough? thanks for any replys. I appreciate it and if this keeps worrying me I'll just take it back to stock. I really don't want to have to do that. Happy riding, Larry

Spark plugs are a much better indicator of a rich/lean condition that exhaust pipes. If the plugs look good and she runs smooth, stop worrying about the pipes blackening- she's rich enough.

Reading your spark plugs is the most accurate way to determine the mixture in the cylinder, providing you don't have a tailpipe sniffer. The pipes are inaccurate due to the variances in temperature from the headpipe to the end of the muffler.
