I am working though my 05 Deluxe and I have two mods I am hung up on.
One, the bars. Ive seen a few "ape like" bars i really like but I am having a hard time finding pics where I can find out WHAT KIND they are.
Two, lowering. I am looking to lower the rear a bit to help me flat foot the bike a bit better.
Please post photos of your bars (brand and name included) and also pics if you have your rear lowered and how you did it
I have Khrome Werks 14" Heritage Tall Bars, they sit right at shoulder height, perfect for me, I'm 5'7". As far as lowering that bike you're going to loose travel in those rear shocks, there's an alternative, not as cheap as the lowering kit, you'll maintain ride height, and shock travel. Have the seat modified. http://www.meancitycycles.com/index.php They've done 2 seats for me, and I couldn't be happier.

+1 I was amazed at the difference a lower seat made on my bike. I couldn't quite flat foot it with the stock seat and after swapping seats it's no problem. Made the biggest difference in comfort too.
