Hey Guys,
I've been lurking on here for a while and have been able to find whatever info I've needed without having to bother anyone, until now.
So the question is, will the rear brake caliper for a newer Softail fit an '85? I would like to upgrade to a 4 piston caliper but can't afford the scratch for a Performance Machine or Brembo so I was hoping maybe I could use one off a 2000 or newer without too many modifications.
Anyone have any experience or knowledge in this area? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Mark

i have a RevTech of my 95fxstc Id sell
Best pic I can do now. Im at work. Its off the bike and just sitting. I did a 200 tire and couldnt use it anymore
I have a performance machine black four piston differential bore rear caliper. It's bad *** but super expensive. I've used wilwood and they work exceptionally well and are fairly priced. Buy a wilwood
twiZted Oh yeah that's right I brain farted that , 95fxstc thanks for the offer but I'd like to stay away from things made of chinesium, misfit Jason I can't afford Wilwood any more than the PM or Brembo, working with a really limited budget. I could swing a used take off that I'm sure would be better than the single piston caliper that is on it but any real performance brakes are out of my price range.
Thanks for the responses
Mark
After taking a moment to pull my head out I realized the question I should have asked is what will fit? I know there are differences between the early Softails and later ones I just don't know what they are or what parts will interchange.
