Good morning my friends!!! So i ended up buying this cool caliper insert but i am worried that the 3M adhesive backing won't hold up to the all the elements and road conditions in the long run. What would be a good epoxy or adhesive for a metal plate on a caliper?
If the adhesive backing is a 3M product, you should be fine. If not, any automotive adhesive use to attach to the exterior body is fine.
Thank you so much for your reply😊 It is a 3M adhesive backing, I cleaned up the old adhesive that the original insert left behind with goo gone, then I cleaned up the area with brake parts cleaner..Seems to be on there pretty good..Thanks again
