VH too loud for CA

VH too loud for CA
So, this weekend I received a citation for my VH Softail Duals being too loud on my 2005 Deluxe. I can avoid paying the ticket if I can "Fix It". I have my original exhaust, but do not want to change out the entire system. VH does not have a baffle to get the sound down to 80db. Any creative suggestions to lower the sound to 80db? This is only for a 15 test at the DMV to have the infraction charge ($200) waved. BTW, I was only sitting at a red light, no revving the engine, low RPM. In CA you can be pulled over and spot checked even if you are not generating much noise. I made it 6 years without being stopped, so not too bad. Thanks for the help!
Would a universal baffle work? They are made in many sizes. Perhaps one with a wrap to reduce the sound. Something you could jam in there for the test and remove again.

Must have been in a beach city, about the only place i have been bothered with exhaust or illegal helmets

VH told me they will get to the low nineties. Better than where I am, but the cop pulled me over when I was idling at a red light. He said it looked like an aftermarket exhaust and he wanted to check with his dB meter. I spoke with him and he said he would be writing bikes up all day. Welcome to CA!
