Default RPMs Rises as Bike Idles

It's a 2013 Heritage, only work ever done was stage 1. Bike now has 30,000 miles, never a problem. Bike will run fine, but at a traffic light or if we are pulled over and put the bike in neutral, every once in a while, it will rise by itself from 1000 RPMs to 1500 RPMs. As it rises to 1500 rpms, if you just give it a little gas, bike will stall out. Bike does not throw any codes.

Any suggestions on what might be the problem?

Thanks in Advance

Worth a try, disconnect the battery for about 5 min that should reset the ECU. see if it clears up. Good luck.

My 2013 has an intake leak that I verified with a shot of brake clean. It's Heritage with about 55k on the clock.
Same symptoms.
BTW I pulled the tank for easy access.

Ok so we got the bike back and all is well. Big thanks to Danbury Harley for getting us back on the road , turns out the problem was the IAC { Intake air control} The part is only 50 bucks but you have to lift the tank to do it!!! Thanks again to Danbury Harley... hope this post helps someone one day..... Swifty
