I have a 2008 Heritage FLSTC and I was wondering if I can install a 2012 Fatboy speedo and tachometer! On to my heritage, I have the cable that goes to the speedo in my dash panel. I know I have to buy the data link cable to download my kilometres and info. My heritage hasn’t got a tachometer on my dash
any help would be very appreciated

My memory isn't always the best, but I believe the sofatil bikes went to the canbus system in 2011....

If I am remembering correctly, I don't believe you will be able to mate a canbus speedo (2012) to a non-canbus bike (2008)...

 

You can only intall a new Speedo not a used one as it will show "CAL ERR" on the odometer.
