I bought a Harley it was burned up I put a new wiring harness in it that had the Delphi security I eliminated that the bike starts up and runs for about 3 to 5 seconds and then dies anybody have an idea and what I can do

 

There is a lot of Harleys. Need model letters and year.

If it's FI, sounds like fuel pump is not running. It will prime with timer on key on but once CSP reads 20 hits, it runs all the time. If it had a alarm, just can't take it off without writing to ECM and BAS it's removed.

Not until you tell us what you are working on, and exactly what you did with the electrical system...

 

Likely it still has the original ECU and that is likely security. You will need to follow the password learn procedure to unlearn the password from the TSSM. This will be outlined in your FSM under Factory Security System.

 

How did you "eliminate" the security....??

We need more info to offer any meaningful help...

 

Elecrical, imagine that. Wrong harness, or you missed something.
Last one I did, I missed the color code and got a couple wire crossed.
Bull dog mentality set in til I figures out what I missed.
