Mike - Id say price out the Hard bags as compared to a good set of Leather bags, I was going to go the Hard bag route but had a set of custom leather Bags made that operate like hard bags. By the time you buy the hard bags, support brackets & flip your axle the Hard bags cost more - then throw in the lid covers to accent the Heritage styling.......? to each there own.
Raven - Dam.........you got that bike loaded up good!
Oh do tell us, lol. I've spoken to a couple other members here regarding that fairing, both gave it high praise. I'm really looking to pull the trigger, maybe one of the Reckless guys can offer up a nice photo shoot.

Its a nice fairing, only issue I have had was one of the screws came out on the brake side right above the accessory light,, found it when cleaning bike..
Easy fix but.....check those fasteners,, other than that its a nice unit, looked at others and the costs can be up there, reckless was a good product at a good price. I'd buy again......!
I now have Rushmore hard bags.
Prefer them to the old style bags.
Not sure of the fairing brand, it was used and I did some cutting and glass work to get the inside like I wanted it.

No doubt the "Rushmore" bags (2014-newer) are the better OEM set.
I came across a set of vivid black ones a few months ago for $400 and considered pulling the trigger on them.
But then I looked at my $200 Amazon TCMT one's and they look and work OK.
I do however somewhat regret not going forward with the OEM Rushmore bags and will likely make a different decision next time a set come around.
In the meantime the TCMT set from Amazon work well and look pretty good.
I think I am into mine for under 200 and my old stick shocks (for the repaint on my fairing & the lids [lids were mat black]).
Sold the old ones for about $50 so about $150 bottom line.
But it took about a year to find them.
