Wheels got me confused.
I had difficulty finding wheels for my 2019 Harley-Davidson Heritage Classic FLHCS 114 I received many answers, until I asked Lowbrow Customs for help. I texted back and forth with a knowable customer service person with answers for all questions. Finally they said if you have no problem with wheels, no need to buy. I'm posting this for the people who are confused like I was. I'm a new H-D owner is below.

work?
If your looking to change wheels you need to be concerned about the rim width, diameter and hub width. All bearings can be swapped for other sizes as the outer diameter stayed the same and only the inner changed from 3/4 to 1" to 25mm for the most part.
If you are looking to go full on custom, most aftermarket places will have a chart on what fits what using an adapter or a different hub etc... If you are looking to swap from a different model or even a different line (example Dyna wheel on Softail), then you will have to start looking at custom spacers, shims for the rotor and possible the caliper, in extreme cases you may have to machine the wheel mounting surfaces.etc....
I have found that a lot of times when looking for custom wheels that even thou the sizes are correct the system will tell you it won't fit because it comes with the wrong size bearings. A lot of stuff you find on eBay only comes with 1" bearings installed so the system states it won't fit a 2014 model as they came with 25mm bearings. But, as stated earlier this is just a matter of swapping bearings and they sell complete kits to do this. On my bike projects I do this all the time and you just need to do your homework ahead of time so your getting exactly what you need and your not having custom work done at added cost to make it fit. Good luck on your seach.
