Shop damaged my exhaust. How to repair?

Was it a dealership or an independent shop? Dealers carry insurance for just this reason ad should make it right if they did it, indies on the other hand may not carry insurance. The problem is that it it is usually on you the customer to prove that the damage wasn't there before the shop got the bike.

No way to repair it. Ask them to offer you something and take it and move on.

I always look my bike over hard before I take it. Is that a heat shield or a muffler? You normally don't have to replace the whole pipe just the damaged part. Definitely ask them to replace it. It's hard once you leave because it gives them an opportunity to say we didn't do that. Heat shields are around $80. I learned that the hard way. If it is a muffler I'm not sure what they go for. Good luck I hope you get her fixed.
