Anyone have a Corbin Solo on their Deluxe? wondering about riding position? Supposedly, about an inch closer and one inch lower. Kindof like the position I'm at with standard seat. Does one inch make that much of a difference???
I have the Corbin Close Solo in my Deluxe. It moves me forward about an inch and I sit lower about an inch. I use it once in a whilebut I prefer to use the OEM to which I had it reshape and recovered.
i am running a corbin solo seat the regular one not the close its ok i feel i am sitting about the same back but a little lower. i never found the oem seat to be that bad
Maybe I'll put my money ino some new pipes instead, although I loved my Corbin Solo on my Duece (riding position was much higher on Duece). The standard seat really doesn't feel that bad to me also. Not sure if I want to be any lower. Good thought on possibly reshaping and recovered though for the winter project.
Are the standard seats leather? Can't really tell by look and feel...
I think stock is leather. I used to have a Deluxe. I have a Heritage now that I put the classic solo close seat on with a back rest. I liked the stock Deluxe, however, after an hour, I feel like the Corbin gave me a bit more support. For long trips, I prefer my Corbin. I have no pressure or hot spots on by back side and my back doesn't hurt. Gives me a hair more thigh support also which gives me a better riding posture.
But everybody has different seats that they find comfortable. I'm 5'4" by the way. -Christi
