I have an Australian spec.2007 Custom with the 'active exhaust valve' in the rear cylinder header pipe, do any of our American cousins have the part no. for the US header pipe without the valve? Do you know if the header pipe from an 88ci Softail Standard wouldfit the 07's and whether the part no's are the same for the 88ci and 96ci.
If you put in an '06 pipe you'll lose the oxygen sensor. Two options are, jam the valve open which i first did, pull the pipe off and hack out the butterfly, and shaft, and leave the external mechanism in place (and functioning)which is what I am currently running, or have the end bit of the header pipe chopped off and replaced with an apprpriate piece of tube. You then have to do a little mod to the ECU. I think it was short out pins 1 & 20. A Harley w/shop or "tuner" should be able to help you there.

Other option is to buy the "eliminator" just plugs into the end of wiring going to butterfly. There also one for the flap on the air intake, when going to stage 1 ACleaner.
Both available from http://www.bigjoechoppers.com.au/home.html in oz.
