For you Slim owners. A friend is looking to put a rack (part no for rack is 50300099A) on his 2016 Softtail Slim S, does he really need a taillight relocation kit plus a relocation kit for his side mounted license plate, just to mount the rack?

If so now his $200 rack plus docking hardware turns into $400-$500?

 

In answer to my question yes you do need the turn signal kit but not the license plate relocation kit, unless you're going to run bags, then you do.
