Hey all,
Sold fatboy 24 years ago and five kids later I just bought a 2008 Crossbones looking to transform into bobber style. New bars, vance and hines short shots already being installed but I want a tracking fender but can't locate. Shadetree Fab kits are style looking for but heard they went under. Rowland Sands sets higher than I want as well as Thunderbike's bolt on type. Any advice? Don't have many custom shops in Charleston so they are all real busy and don't seem to want to take on the work unless it is a quick bolt on type. All the threads are old so just seeing what's out there now. Thanks
I live in Charleston too. Local shops are jokes. The guy who could have done this for you moved west about 8 years ago. Best thing you can do is research, gather pics of what you like, buy some damaged fenders and start practicing your grinding, cutting and welding skills
Thanks for the info. Ya the guys around here, well that's all I have to say about that. I've been a builder of homes and businesses for 35 years but have dabbled in metal and paint back when I would fix bikes up for a hobby. Just little lazier these days but looks like I'm coming out of retirement...haha.
