Lowering Recommendations for 2015 Heritage Softail Classi
Greetings...I am in search of some recommendations on lowering options for a 2015 Heritage Softail Classic. I am picking the bike up Friday and it has been a number of years since I have owned a Softail so I need a refresh and get back up to speed on what is out there. My last Softail was a Deluxe and I put on a Shotgun Shock air ride system. I dont really want to spend that kind of money or work this time around so looking for inexpensive and relatively easy options for both the front and rear. I am thinking 1.5 or 2 drop on both ends. This bike is going to be a solo bike and for local rides. I have my CVO Road King for traveling and long rides. Thanks in advance for the help.
Mean City Cycle is going to be by far your best bet. You can maintain everything stock, just modify the seat. They can shave the sides, drop you down, and or move you forward or back. It's the best money I've spent, so much that I actually had 2 of my seats done. I have 2 stock seats. One is strictly solo and the other for 2UP. On both of them I opted for the memory foam upgrade, not the gel. My brother did the gel and found after many hours in the saddle it got hot. I don't feel that in the memory foam.
Solo seat, dropped 1.5" sides shaved .75" each side, and back 1.5" 2UP stock seat was the same except I didn't move back. The passenger pillion had memory foam upgrade as well, and a slight .75" slope front to back to keep my passenger against the backrest and not sliding forward into me.

thanks for reply...I am very familiar with them. I had my 06 Deluxe stock seat reworked by them for this very reason.
i am going to run a minimalistic seat on this Heritage...something like a bare bones so wont need the stock seat reworked or anything. Just want to slam the bike for looks.
Take a look into C&C Seats, they make an incredible saddle. Had one on my 04 Dyna and looking into something for the new look on my Heritage
