Import Euro HD to US problem

when it comes to emissions, international specs do indeed tend to be stricter than US (ex California). However, this has nothing to do with a) government restrictions on (re-)importing vehicles and b) HD giving certification for it. After all, they want to sell bikes in the US too, dont they? 😜

A Certificate of Conformity. In the European Union a document for e.g. vehicles where the manufacturer states that the product meets certain regulatory requirements/standards (like emissions, safety, etc). Basically a homologation document that is valid in all EU countries.
