Do you think this is legit or a scam? I messaged him to ask about the title and engine/trans but haven't heard back yet. I'm not even close to an expert but that bike should have come with the factory with an 80ci engine, right? Also, I thought all 96ci engines had 6 speed trans? Not saying this combo isn't possible, but I just don't know. All that work and only asking $3,500, seems too good to be true.

He replied and said it is titled as homemade due to a custom frame and the guy told him it's a 96 and owned it for 15 years.

Scam, completely ignorant owner, and/or a Frankenstein bike of unknown origins.... all three reasons to run away....!

I would of bought it. Hard to scam you if you show up in person. It probably is a frankin bike but at that price I would be ok with that. I like workin on them though.
