Hey everyone, it’s been a while !
Just wondering if anyone here knows how much a softail can be jacked up with a shotgun shock?
And is it still considered the best air ride kicking around?
I've had the shotguns on my bike since early 2020 and love them. I just got back from a ride to PA today and love the ability to drop or raise the bike based on the roads I am riding. When there are lots of low speed curves, I can raise the bike up to keep from scraping and when on straight roads, drop it most of way which I think is how it rides best. I doubt it gives the best ride compared to some other shocks on the market, but it is the best one for making extreme adjustment while riding. The answer on lift distance is exactly 5" on my fatboy. Just measured.
