Default Hard bags!

I need some input please!
I want to buy a set of hard bags for 2009 Softail Deluxe! Any suggestions out there that anyone has had good experience with? I want painted bags and I need the hardware as well! Wanting the OEM original look not the rounded looking style that you see at some after market places!
thanks!
Rick

Search "softail bagger" as this subject has been discussed in great detail.
As for me I'll bought my bags off Amazon for around $200.

Amazon Amazon

Where you need to spend your money is the mounts.

I wouldn't get sucked in by the cheap $35 mounts on Amazon or e-Bay.
Sure they will hold the bags up but they will shake going down the road and likely eventually cause a problem.

IMO Cycle Vision Bagger Tail is the only way to go. I was fortunate to find mine discounted a bit off e-Bay.

Below is a picture of my bike setup on a 1000 mile road trip last month.
I'm not sure how much weight was on/in the bags but the Cycle Vision mounts never wiggled even going 80mph down the highway.

In my left bag I had 2 sets of rain gear, a jump starter and a gallon of gas in a Reda gas can.
On top of that bag was a 4 man dome tent.

In my right bag I had a saddlebag cooler full of ice and probably 6 bottles water.
On top of that bag was a 6 man dome tent.

Many posts here regarding this topic.
I am still looking for a set of Buco bags for my bike. I certainly don't require the capacity the previous post shows as I do not tour anymore.
Buco bags, IMHO, look great on softails. The challenge right now is that many suppliers have the bags but don't have the mounts. And no estimate on when mounts will be available.

The Cycle Visions kit is nice. It is braced at the bottom for
addn'l support. They also seem to mount fwd enough so,
on a Heritage (for example) they will clear the stock turn
signals. The also offer filler panels and saddlebag guards

It’s unfortunate that BB Reproductions is out of business. They had exactly what you want but the owner apparently retired and chose to shut down rather than sell the company to a new operator. I loved those bags and hoped to put a set on my new Heritage, but I’m in the same boat now.

Installation on my Evo Heritage Special.

I'll add another vote for the cycle visions kit. They really do hold the bags in well and I've not had any issue.

I happened to get pretty lucky and am running some stretched bags with genuine HD tops on them. Got them painted by a friend and here's what it looks like with filler panels also:
