Seems to me from what I've researched that a Mikuni 42MM carb and maybe a head job might help you at least keep up.
That didn't sound right. I meant get your heads ported for low end grunt.
You should be able to do all that for around $700.00

Somewhere in another post someone recomeded just a carb mod, I have first hand knoledge that this is BS... my 05 dyna with a stock motor and SE mufflers with a Mikuni 42 make only 62 HP and 71 Lbs of torque on the dyno...pretty much same as stock, My advice is if you need torque, get a carb last or make it part of a package of parts.
Now, after I installed my Head Quarters 95 in kit with there Hi velocity heads and cams, the Mukini started to really shine, with over 100 lbs of neck snapping torque and close to 100 HP!
