FP3 auto tune vs canned map
Just installed an FP3 on my ‘17 fatboy. Got stock air filter, V&H slip ons. Chose canned map and adjusted decel pops and reduced them a lot. Now have auto tune turned on, ran like 30 min, many green blocks on the map, but more decel pops than the canned map. 3 questions. Have I not spent enough time driving bike in auto tune to have decels stop/reduce? Second question is when should I finish the auto tune feature? Lastly, it appears the auto tune works off the canned map in second spot rather than create a new map. So will not have a choice to go back to saved canned map if unhappy with auto tune results? Thanks for any responses ahead of time

My advice and what I have done is called V&H customer support. They will go into the FP3 and fine tune and adjust what needs attention.
Every time I called they were very helpful. Just tell them what you have done to the bike as far as upgrades.

Thanks for advice. I called, waited 5 seconds for an english speaking person to answer, uploaded him my map, downloaded a map from him, boom. Done. Couldn’t have been easier. Great customer service.
