I just bought my used 2003 Fatboy. And I'm trying to figure out what the pin is so if I ever lose the key fob I can start my Fatboy.
I don't have the previous owners phone number anymore so I can't text him and ask him. I've been on YouTube and watch multiple videos and tried multiple different ways to find the pin and nothing seems to work.I don't have the factory ignition. The previous owner put in a Bluetooth keyless ignition is from Harley because the key fob has the Harley logo on it, but I can't figure out how to find the pin for an emergency start. Also, when you take the key fob so far away from the motorcycle, the alarm is supposed to set and lock the ignition but that doesn't happen. I've moved the key fob far away to the other side of the house and it will not keep the motorcycle from starting. All I have to do is turn the ignition **** and push the start button with the key fob nowhere near the bike and it still starts.

2003 didn't have a proximity fob. The system is armed/disarmed by using the button on the fob.
Do you have the owner's manual? The procedure for modifying the existing PIN is in there.
But he does not have the OEM ignition anymore. The way I read it, he states - FOB only - no key meaning that he has some kind of updated/ modernized keyless system. HD dealer would be my next place to talk to. Maybe they can even do a VIN search and find some info. out for you.

To reset the code with a TSSM equipped bike (with button fob), you will: 1) Set your kill switch to off 2) Quickly turn the ignition switch on, off, on, off, on 3) Immediately press and let go of the left turn signal switch twice (press, let go, press, let go) 4) Press and let go of your fob button twice (press fairly hard, it's designed to resist being pressed by keys and whatnot in your pocket) 5) Current PIN number will be displayed on odometer 6) Change the PIN by pressing the left signal until the desired number is reached 7) Press the fob button twice to cycle to the next number and repeat step 7 8) Press and let go the right signal and turn ignition off when 5 digit PIN is satisfactory NOTE: Steps 2 through 4 must be completed in quick succession of each other.

As barneyboy pointed out, the OEM TSSM (security module) for the 2003 model years does not have a proximity alarm (passive system). It is an active system, it needs to be turned on and off with the FOB.
The wild card in all of this is the highlighted portion of your post... this "bluetooth keyless ignition" that the previous owner installed...
Is it just a replacement of the actual ignition switch...??? Or did it also somehow replace the TSSM also...???
I am unaware of an HD product that retrofits into the TSSM bikes, that changes it to the '07 HFSS security system, or the 2011+ "BCM style" of security, where it is a passive system.... but that doesn't mean it does not exist...
You could try to see if the alarm activates and deactivates per the instructions posted by barneyboy. If that works, then you know the TSSM (security system) is of the OEM 2003 variety, and that is probably the OEM key fob...
If that doesn't work, you need to figure out what has been installed, and get an owner's manual for it, to know for sure what is going on..
As far as the current security code, any of the aftermarket tools like the Centurion, TwinScan, etc will read the security code from a BCM bike, but I don't know if they can read the code from a TSSM bike. I'd try with my TwinScan on my 2003 TSSM bike, but it is currently apart for a top end job....
You may need to check with the dealer to see if the Digital Tech II can read the code from the TSSM... otherwise you're stuck with the tedious, and often hard to use, procedure outlined by mskirwin. But you'll need to figure out how to cycle your new bluetooth ignition switch...
Good luck... report back when you discover the fix....

I could be wrong, but I think the OP may be mistaking the OE fob for a Bluetooth device. The OP posted the image below in another thread.
Yes, I posted this picture about something else. That is the fob I have. I don't know if it's original equipment, I assumed its not because the bike has a keyless ignition.
I assumed it was aftermarket Bluetooth. The previous owner upgraded so many other things, I assumed Bluetooth ignition was one of them.
Thanks for any kind of help you can give me
Can you post a pic of your ignition switch? The OE switch has a hinged cover that hides the keyed lock.
While pushing the key in, you can rotate it clockwise to the unlocked position, and remove the key. Then you can close the cover, and rotate the switch without a key. The switch will remain unlocked until you reverse the procedure.
