Hey who keeps their bike stock anyway. I say its a good starting platform for a 240mm rear bike, its got more rake, so you dont need to throw 3* cups on it. The duece tank is nice. I would change the fenders, paint, and get rid of that seat. But remember a 240mm kit will run you anywhere from 2k - 7k depending on labor and who makes the kit.
As with any harley, its a starting platform........stock is stock
I don't know why so many people complain about the seat on Rocker. Have people not realized that you don't have to ride with the passenger seat pulled out? Riding solo with the passenger seat out would look stupid. The seat, in my opinion, is a genius idea. That seat gives you the best of both worlds. Just imagine you're a single guy rollin' up to Hooters for a Bike Night. You roll up on your custom looking bike that turns heads (whether you like the bike or not, you'll still look at it). Some cute broad walks up and starts talkin' to you. At the end of the night, you really wanna take this chick home and she's willing. However, she's disappointed because you only have a solo seat on the bike. Oh, but wait..... You lift up your seat and pull out the passenger seat and now she has a place to sit. The two of you ride off and the rest is history. Sounds like a damn good idea to me guys. I love the look of a solo seat, but my wife rides with me from time to time. That means I have to keep a two-up seat on my bike or change the seat out whenever she wants to ride. I wish they made a seat like that for my Deuce. Overall, I think the bike looks like a customized Deuce. I wouldn't get rid of my bike for one, but I don't think they're ugly. The MoCo needed something to gain back market share it lost to the custom bike builders. This is the bike to do it.

Thats about all that seat is designed for is to " just get her home" And hopefully, home aint to far away, cuz from the looks, it cant be very comfortable.

As I said on an earlier post, the thing is only good for single guys into the bar hopping thing.

The Rocker is just as practical as any other Pro Street bike or Chopper. The whole purpose of the bike was to build something that would take the market share back from the custom bike builders. You don't see people taking long trips on a chopper, and you won't see many people doing it on the Rocker either. It's an "around town" bike. If someone is wanting a bike to do some longer rides on, a different Harley would be the way to go. It might not even be that bad for the driver, but no way would it be good to do a long trip with a passenger on that thing. I'd almost guarantee you there are companies out there now trying to copy the seat on the Rocker so they can be used on Choppers and other Pro Street Bikes. It's a solo bike with a passenger option. That's how the seat should be utilized. If the Harley family can accept something as different as the V-Rod, there is no reason why the Rocker can't be accepted.
