Hey guys, I have a question regarding the wiring connectors for the switches on the handlebars. I was contemplating converting my bike to have internal wiring but recently took the switch covers off to see how the wires are connected to the switches it looks like a bigger job than I anticipated. I have a ’05 Deluxe and the wires appear to be molded to the switches as opposed to any kind of connector style.
My question is does anyone know if there is an easy way to remove the wiring from these switches so I can fish them through the handlebars or do I have to resolve myself to the fact that I have to cut the wires and resolder them together once they are fished through?
Thanks guys, I didn't think of i that way but I guess it is easier in the long run even though you have to drain and take off the tank. thanks for you help.
