Default 2007 FXST rear lights

I have a 07 standard FXST with the bobtail fender and 200mm rear tire. The brake light is in the fender but the side lights are only turn signals, not brake/running. I've seen some kits to convert them to running/brake.

What I am having trouble finding is if I can just switch out the electrical board inside the tail from another similar model that has rear running/brake/turn signals and swap the sockets to 1157.

I can't seem to find any HD models that have a bobtail rear fender and 200mm tire. I'm not even sure if the tire size makes a difference, just assuming. The 2002 FXST with bobtail has a smaller rear tire and has rear running/brake lights.

What's on it for a tail light now? Tombstone? Your bike is newer, but I added an LED board in the tombstone tail light on my wife's 2005 Deluxe and added a run/turn/brake module from Custom Dynamics under the seat. The rest of the lights have also been converted to LED. Unfortunately I can't recall if the run/turn/brake module also acts as a resistor to stop hyper flash or if there was a second module like I added to my 2002 Fat Boy.
The Fat Boy has had the whole rear tail light replaced with an LED unit as well as the fender strut mounted bullet turns replaced by LED units. Both bikes have Custom Dynamics Dynamic Ringz for front turn signals.

I have an 08 FXSTC and I used the Custom Dynamics run/brake/turn module along with the upgraded LED signal lights. I put mine under the seat as well. I think it’s one of the must do upgrades for being seen while riding.

I have the tribar LED brake light on there now. I was trying to get away from needing a control box. The one Im looking at is the Load Balancing Triple Play from Custom Dynamics and it's sold out, has been for a while, and not looking to be back until July. Was hoping to achieve something similar with just swapping some OEM parts If possible. HD has a module for run/brake/blink that is for the stock lights. So LED will fast blink.

I used this on my FXSTB - https://www.harley-davidson.com/us/e...it/p/69462-06D

I converted all of my rears to Custom Dynamics LED's and also had to add a load equalizer. Its bright and works well. All red.

I am not running the Tri-bar.
