No need to panic....
As learning points;
1.) In the future, there are several really good transports that handle motorcycles, and do it well... They really are not that expensive... and they don't strap them onto a car carrier... the transport would be the easiest part of the purchase had you used one of them.
2.) You also learned that just because someone owned a motorcycle, it doesn't mean they know anything about them.. I'm talking about the prior owner. He obviously doesn't know how to transport a motorcycle, or just because he sold it, he just didn't care...
3.) With something as important as transporting your motorcycle, take charge of the process/decisions to make sure it's done well... don't leave it to someone you really don't know (like the prior owner)...
Yes, there are numerous red flags on your bike transport pics... but I've been riding Harleys since 1978, and dirt bikes since 1970.... I have first hand knowledge that many clueless people have been transporting many motorcycles for many years. Most of those motorcycles, in spite of being transported by the clueless, made it to their destination, with little or no damage....
While many of us would have done this differently, that doesn't mean this will end badly...
Just make sure to give the bike a real good inspection on arrival, before signing for it... It's out of your hands for now... enjoy the new bike when it gets there...
Or should I say "if it gets there"....

The Best of Harley-Davidson for Lifelong Riders
when we haul any of our equipment we always cover the glass because the road grime will sand scratch the windows real bad and it don't take long either!!
and as already mentioned that strap job is laughable!! if one of them comes loose that bike is going over!! those trailers ride real low and often drag the ground a bit and this driver runs the strap under the frame of the trailer!! Big No No!! even with chains!!
who ever loaded that bike is in some real need of some advice on how to secure a load!!
OP I really hope your bike shows up unscathed!! nothing would **** me off more than throwing out the cash for a nice clean machine and have some knuckle head screw it up before I even got my hands on it!! be sure to look it over real close when it arrives!!
Good Luck! fingers crossed for you!
