I hope it makes it to you unscathed, with that strap job

Nice bike... enjoy..!

I agree with "2500hdon37s", I'm not a fan of those straps, nor how they have it secured. The odds are it will be fine. I suspect it's because it's an open car carrier, but it appears that transport service isn't experienced in transporting valuable, or really nice motorcycles.....

If you have it insured for the delivery, make sure to check the front fender behind those straps for paint damage...

Update with pics once you get it...

Thanks guys. Yeah, I'm really freaking out about the bike in its current setup. The previous owner is a motorcycle owner and assured me that it was secure . I've never been more nervous and anxious.

I'd be as nervous as a long tailed cat in a rocking chair showroom.... Double straps would have been instructions. Can't tell you how many I've seen fail. Sorry. But wishing you good luck!

If you look closely at the pic, there are two straps.... one on each side of the handlebars... but that is not even the minimum, IMHO....

OP, what I don't like, because those open carriers bounce a bit:

Cheap straps
Hooks instead of carabiners or buckles
No rear stabilizing straps
Straps are close to the front fender, with a big fuzzy "pad" around the strap. Those "pads" will rub paint only slightly less than the strap.... and being thicker are much more likely to make contact. If they are touching the fender at rest, there will be some paint issues..

And obviously if he hits some bad weather, you'll have a major clean-up on your hands... but that happens on rides too...

Again, it will probably be OK, but I totally understand your anxiety.....

What I meant was double the two straps that are on there. That way you have backups. Nobody would strap a bike with just one. 😉

Also, it appears there's nothing holding the rear wheel down. I wouldn't be surprised if it bounces to the side. I've got a strap system in my trailer so can I haul two bike. Chocks for the front, soft straps around the lower legs, and I run a strap through the rear rim at the bottom to a D Ring in the floor. Without anything on the rear they will hop.

Fingers crossed for the OP. I see way too many red flags here, as others have stated the strap job is shoddy at best, no rear strap. And the one we can't see is...is it in Neutral?
