Turn Signal Relocation
Just installing my light bar and I am removing the old turn signals. The wiring for the old signals go through the handlebars, but of course they are not connected to anything under the gas tank as the new signals are now connected. What did you guysdo with that wiring? Did you just cut it on the handlebars and leave it or something else?

Did you get new signals or are you just relocating the OEM turn signals from the bars to the light bar? I assume you are replacing with new ones, therefore the new ones are connected under the tank to the wiring harness. If that is the case, then the old turn signal wires should run from the now loose ends (which used to be connected under the tank) up through the bars to the OEM turn signals mounted on the bars. You should be able to pull the wire through the bars when you take the turn signals off the bars. I am getting ready to relocate mine to a light bar and this is what I am planning to do.
Maybe someone else has already done it and can confirm.

That is what I was going to do, but one side is bundled with other wires in a protective tubing, so I didn't want to yank on it and create problems. If someone else has pulled it through then I will give that a try.
Yes, you are correct, I have the deluxe kit and am replacing with new signals.

I didn't know Harley was running the light wires inside now. COOL .... it's about time !!
Anyway ...
If you are going to loose the stock lights, disconnect the negative battery cable, and just cut the wires from the stock lights. Then, pull the wire through and connect ( solder ) the new wires to your old wires.
Make sure you slide the shrink wrap over the cable before soldering !!!

-SNIPPED em-
pulled back tank (without removing it) and plugged it into the wiring harness there but without the blue wires (blue wires running lights)
When I went to change the bars finally I removed the old -now snipped- t/s wires
