I replaced my bars. When I went to re-wire my turn signals which I had previously moved to the forks, I found that the people who had re-wired it before had used different color wires. So I have had many problems getting the wiring right. On the right side I have the turn signal but no running lights. On the left I have no light at all. I tested the wires with my multi-meter and have:
1) 12V
1) 5V
1) OV (which I assume is the negative.)
I tested with the turn signal on and off and there where no changes in the voltage.
At this point I am thinking about having to re-wire the whole thing, taking the bars off and start all over. I don't want to have to do this.
The other option is to buy the mirrors with the turn signals. The ones I am looking at are only single wires. which I don't know how to wire from 3 wires to a single. Please advise. I am a little out of my league at this point. Which when it comes to electrical is new.
