Been debating on relocating and just straight up removing the front turn signals and have a few questions. For those who have removed did you just cap off the wires at the bars? Also anyone having issues after removing (errors or anything from not having the running lights attached)?
Yeah, if I remember correctly though when I was installing my bars the signal wires were in the bunch with the rest of the wires and it treed off right at the top so I don't know if I will be able to trace back down to the tank . Also since my bike is a 2012 I was honored enough to have the harley ******* hanging off the back as a rear light so when I throw my bags on tomorrow ill be losing those signals as well, so I don't know if I will have any brake light problems. Crimson when you did your bars do you remember what the wiring looked like on the 2011?

Thanks!
The main issue I can see is with the LEO. California law states that any motorcycle manufactured on or after January 1st, 1973, MUST have turn signals front and rear. And, shall not be mounted lower than 15" from the ground.

Yeah I'm not to worried about them.. I just tell them give me the ticket and save your sob story about other drivers.
Most of my other bikes didn't have signals either
Not required in Virginia so I took mine off. Now I'm looking for new ones to put back on! When you're trying to turn left at an intersection and cars are coming head-on- it's nice to be able to signal that you are turning. Can't do that with your hand because you're on the clutch and throttle...
Not required in NC either. Mine have been gone. When I removed the rear center brake light a while back I just used the two turn sigs as brake lights. Those are gone now though since my last mod. The only time I would get a code is when I accidentally hit the turn sig button. It would clear at the next start up though.
If you still want turn signals but don't like the clutter, do like I did. LED turn signal mirrors. Cheap (about $60) and didn't even need a load equalizer.
Bikemaster Candy Drop Custom Naked Bike Mirrors with Integrated Turn Signals (do a google search and you'll find them at a good price)
Not looking to take mine off, but is there a way to change them from running lights to just turn signals? Meaning if my signal isn't on, they're not on.
