This is a 2009 Heritage with 22,000 miles; it has the 96 engine; the owner is asking $9,500 for it. The asking price strikes me as not unreasonable, but with the way prices are these days, I'm not sure.
I already own a few HD's (it's kind of a sickness-hah), but this one sort of jumped out at me.
Any thoughts, especially on the price, are appreciated.
P.S. I love the color of this bike.
I picked up an 08 with 21k miles for 8200 a month or so back. It did have several goodies like painted to match hardbags, a 2 up set up, exhaust.. The used market is nuts, but I have found that the individuals selling are def priced better than the dealers 10 fold. Thats a good looking scooter and I think its priced in the right ballpark.
Strikes me as in line with today's used pricing. Bike looks clean and probably has been well cared for. Is a nice color and a classic look for sure. Have a 96B engine in my 2009 Softail Custom and it's a nice engine. Good luck with the hunt on this one.
Check the date on the tires, you'll slide off the road and die if they're over 6 years old. Just kidding on the dying part😁.
But I've found if they're over 6 years old it's possible to get the seller to lower the price $500 for new tires.
Nice looking bike. I just picked up a 2008 Heritage last year. 18K miles with a tuner, new battery, new tires for $8500. I've had dynas, road glides, an ultra and a softail custom. The Heritage is my favorite. Most comfortable bike I ever road.
If you love the color that's worth at least a couple hundred extra right there. Depending on age/condition of tires I'd say that's a very reasonable price. Thousands under what a dealer would want. Good luck.
My 03 had the VH straight shots on it. It was loud. I don't think they had baffles in em.
I put the cycle shacks that I had on my 00 for awhile on it. Better (deeper) sound.
It seems to run a little better too.
Can't even buy a 2-1 here in good ol' kalif any more.
That is a good buy though.
