ditto on giving this Jamie guy a call. All this guy does is tune bikes. I just got off the phone with him to order my PCIII. Even if he wants 20 bucks for a map, it'll be worth it. Or, just ask him if you don't need it w/ just the AC. prolly worth a quick call - he seemed like a down to earth type of guy.
later.

Or call Jamie at Fuelmoto.com, he has a file of maps for about anything.
No problem. If I understand correctly, you can do one or the other without a tune but as soon as you do both you need a tune.
Slip on's only don't qualify a remap for the efi.
AC no matter what does qualify a remap even if you don't change pipes or mufflers.
Does anyone have a map from Fuel Moto with this config. VH BS Longs, Stage 1 for an '07 96 cu in. I downloaded my map from Power Commander but I would like to take the two and compare them. I bought my PC thru the dealer.
If you by from fuel moto he will map it to your configuration before he sends it out. Then if you make changes later you send him a form and he will send you a new map free of charge. I bought mine from him a week ago and changed my mind on pipes so he is sending me a different map.
I haven't installed my stuff yet. I was waiting until I get my 1k mile service done next week. doesn't look too difficult though. the dealer told me tey wanted $350 to install A/C pipes and PC III and told them nope I'll get it done later. Then I'll do it my self next weekned.
It's not hard to install the PCIII, AC or pipes yourself at all. All it takes is time. Just follow the instructions. It's a simple matter of unplugging and repluggin. The PCIII does have a usb port and you load software onto your laptop. Then you hook it all up and establish connection. There is an option to import the map of your choice from the folder you have it saved in. You can also (if your any good) tweak it to your hearts content.
I would never pay the mech's that much money to install this stuff. But that's my opinion.
