Default Change Tire Size... Brand for a Deuce ???

I need to put tires on my 05 Deuce I just bought (made in 2013 & dry rot). Can or should I go with a bigger size on rear than the 160-70-17 or the 90-21 on the front?
Brand recommendations? I'll never wear em out, so I'm looking for best bang-for-the-buck. I'll be a Sunday rider.

don't know anything about going non stock size.
But at the risk of getting rocks throw at me, my Deuce rear tire got 9k miles out of a made in Korea Shinko 777.
Front so far is looking like I'll get double that

I wouldn't mind Japanese or Korean tires, they make good stuff. Local HD dealer says use orig size, of course. I used Dunlops on my last 2 Goldwings and they carried brutal loads in tough conditions + high mileage.
I'll likely stay with em since I have no real reason to switch horses now.

I didn't get any more mileage out of Harley branded Dunlops, so I tried the Shinko777.
No more mileage out of it, but $50-$60 le$$
You mentioned mileage won't be a factor on your Deuce...so it's of little concern on that bike.

But I'd like to get more than two seasons out of the rear.
Gonna see how Michelin Com II's hold up.
If I don't get at least 12k miles out of them,I'll go back to Shinko

Let me start by saying, we ride motorcycles....2 tires, not 4, one blows out we have a problem. If you're not worried about wearing them out, then why not buy the best tires available for your bike? Why risk saving a few bucks on a "cheaper tire" ? A few extra bucks on a high quality tire could be saving your life, and that beats saving my wallet anyday. just my 02's.
