Just my personal experience, but I've used Amsoil full synthetic oil in Reaper's engine since her first oil change, and only now, after 18 seasons, and over 350,000 kms (217,500 miles), am I going to have to split the cases to find out what is tapping/knocking. Not sure if it's because of the counterbalancer tensioning sytem or the crank itself, but either way, I give a lot of credit to that oil for allowing the stock bottom end to go this far, especially with the 98 ci, 10.5:1, ~100 hp/~120 ft-lbs top end its been under for most of its life.
Man - that Redline oil is pricy! Holy crap $23 a QUART! Wow - liquid gold is what it should be called... I had been thinking of giving it a try in the primary & transmission since some have said it really quieted down the "clunk" but wow is it expensive.

Just sayin'.....
I want the clunk, too much is a no no for sure. Every scoot I owned had a small clunk first gear.
Too much idle and/or incorrect clutch adjustments will give that heavy clunk.
I dont know any guys in RL that use that redline pepto bismal in their scoots.
Y'all do know that is a pink sludge thats really too slippery in the tranny?
