Have take-off headers and interconnect tube from a 2007 FLSTC exhaust system. Anyone know if these will fit on a 2005 FLSTC? I realize the 02 sensor ports will have to be plugged.
The part numbers of the exhaust systems between the '05 and '07 changed. On an online parts finder, the changes look to be more than just the O2 sensor ports.
But that doesn't mean the two systems aren't compatible...
I bought a stock exhaust from a member here that came from a 09 FLSTC and it bolted right up to my 05 FXSTSI. I just plugged the O2 sensor ports. When I bought my bike it had a super loud exhaust that wasn’t going to cut inspection around here. Wanted something cheap until I could decided where to go next. You’ll be fine. The only difference besides the O2 was the interconnect tube connection size. Not an issue unless you need a new gasket in which just tell them the year of the exhaust.
