84 fxst.
It's registered as an FXWG. I will get the VIN for you and let you know.
I am second owner, the bloke i got it off said that he thought it was a prototype sent over to Australia, but yeah was just trying to see if anyone has seen it before... its had me scratching my head for a while.
If so, it may well be one of the 1983 prototypes. Doubt they would have the "ST" stamp, or used one, prior to the production run started in 1984..
It looks real clean and doesn't seem to be a WG that was changed to a ST....
In any case, it's a real nice bike....! I'm a little jealous...
That appears to be the first softail production model offered in 1984.... IIRC, there was a prototype/concept model in 1983, I don't know how many were built..
My buddy had an 84 softail with a 4-speed & electric/kick start that he bought new... he always regrets selling that bike and always keeps his eye out a good used one for sale...
They also made the FXWG in 1983 and 1984 (last year), which were a swing arm bikes...
I have no idea why yours has the FXWG stamp, yours is clearly a softail.
What is the VIN (you can leave out the last five numbers) and what is it registered as....?

There was also an FX model in the 1st part of 85. Narrow forks, Low Rider style dash. Very few though. At that time, they we rolling the Low Rider name towards the FXR line
