Default Harley softail slim saddle bags

I have a 2014 harley softail slim, i bought some Viking saddlebags for it and they don't work up to my expectations. one sits a little crooked because the bottom of the bag hits the belt. Just wondering what other bags anybody has seen or used that have worked and looked good.

I don't have these, but the feedback from others that do, the Ends Cuoio bags are good.
They have a wide range of styles....

These are going to cost you a pretty penny if they ship outside the US. But the quality is beyond anything out there.

I have some Boss Bags that would work and look good on your Slim for sale for less than half price. They are some of the best bags made. Good luck with your search.

I've always like Boss bags, but their cost has held me back from buying a set over the years...

I found this shop, LeatherWorks, located in Northern CA...

https://leatherworksinc.com

I just bought my second set of bags, for a '16 Low Rider, from them, and I'm awaiting delivery. This time I bought a throw over set with a yoke between the bags.

My first set were for my '01 Springer. I used my own fixed mount on those.

On my purchases, I've had both email and phone conversations with Rory Thatcher. He answered all my questions and always got back to me quickly...

These bags were a custom size and were right at $500. There was a custom size fee, but they were also running a sale at the time. They can also add/delete options to the standard sizes.

They are well made and the leather is great. It's a heavy grade of leather, rather than super soft glove style leather.. I believe these bags are a excellent, and an absolute bargain for the price...

Here's a pic of my Springer bags installed with a custom bracket I made...

I've had some email conversations with Rory. He's always prompt and very willing to answer any questions. pricing is reasonable for certain and most reviews Ive seen are very good

I have a set from Viking and have been happy with them. I mounted them with Easy Brackets for easy-on easy-off and they stick out enough as to not hit the belt.

I hesitated to show what I am using because they are extremely hard to procure...
What I use on the LH side is a saddlebag from the Rocker-C model.

Here's what it looks like;

I can't take any credit for this since I saw it previously years ago on a blue Slim....
