Anyone know of where I can get one? I found them on th LicksCustom Cycles website, but I was wondering if I could get one cheaper somewhere else. They cost $119.99 at Licks and you have to add another $30 if you want it in black. So it's $150 because I'm not gonna throw a red bag on my bike, which is the only other color they have. Also, if anyone has one, how do you like it? Does it drag going through turns? What all can you fit in it? Thanks for your help.
I finally found them at a couple other places. Leatherworks makes one called the 312 Chopper Bag and it's runnin' $150. It seems every place I found the Chopper Bag is selling it for $150. So now I'm just wondering if anyone else has one on their bike. I'm curious if it drags or not going through some twisties or regular turns. Just in case no one knows what I'm talking about, it's the single saddlebag that attaches to the swingarm on a softail or hardtail.
Hey man I ordered one from Licks about 3 weeks ago...thing is I haven't been home in 3 weeks. I'm working out of town. I should be home around the 1st of the month...ol lady said it came in. If you dont have one by then I'll post some pics and get you some details.
I'm doing some searches to find the thread about the messenger bag. So far, can't find the thread that mentions where he got it, but I did find one of the pictures:
I like that look on that bike... it fits real well. I'll keep looking for the post with the explanation...
I think if you buy them from zanottimotor.com you can get them for around $100.00, go to the site, and email them for a price quote. They are in the Custom Chrome cataloge. Tell them you are looking forthe solo saddle bag from Custom Chrome. I think they quoted me $95.00 but they were on backorder. I'm interested in one of these, or the messenger bag as well.
