I have a carbureted 2002 Harley fatboy. In my service manual it says the spark plugs should be 1. White, 2.yellow, 3. tan or rusty brown. In the picture it shows the plug to be white but the picture is not very clear.. My plugs are white in color with no deposits on them. The bike runs well with no coughing in the carb. It has good response to the throttle and accelerates well. Should I be worried about a lean plug or are they OK ? Oh and by the way my air fuel jet is screwed out 2 1/4 turns. And my pipes are Vance and Hines short shots with lolly pops installed.

Do a little research on both those topics. Not like I am making this up. You can have your own opinion. But differing opinions are out there. You would have to be pretty _____, to pretend those opinions don't exist. So what bothers you is their other opinions, and you lack the ability to discuss them.
