Would like to lower my roadking 07 2 inches or so.
I saw a bunch of kits but they are only compatible with hard bags. I have the oem leather bags on mine.
Does a kit exist for my machine? Any other suggestions that wont break the bank?
Thanks, that's the kit I looked at, but it says this in the description *Will ONLY work with air shocks. Does NOT work with coil shocks.
Will not work with leather bags.*
Have you measured the shocks unloaded? A 07 most likely came with 13" shocks. If you are only looking for 1/2 " going to 12" shocks will get you there. Usually lots of 12" shock on eBay .
Are you talking shocks. It will ride off awful. Or lowering kit that extends shock angle? I have a bike that came with one. I guess it rides ok. Its older now. My mechanic friend does not like those kits, says they lead cracked swing arms. I am not sure how much lower it is. But I can't get a jack under it easily.
itll look cooler but its going to ride like crap at that length shock.
I lowered my Deluxe 2" in the rear, then put an18" tire in rear and 21" in front. It rides great and handles great. I have ridden it this way now going on 3 years. I could not be happier. Then I went against all things holy in the Harley big bike world and lifted the tank 2". .
