Would a 2002 Fat boy fender fit on a 2002 Heritage? I can't seem to get a for sure answer.
IMHO..... I would think they would be a straight across swap... however, be aware... I think I can see where the confusion comes from...
The online parts finder lists three, full-size rear fenders for the 2002 softail models. I have no idea what the actual differences are.....
The Heritage takes "Rear Fender Primed #59144-00A" and the Fatboy takes "Rear Fender Primed #59596-00A".
Both those part numbers use the same picture, just the two different part numbers. That suggests they are different, but I do not know how... My guess would be how/where trim pieces attach...?
The third choice, is a slightly different picture, "Rear Fender Primed #59155-00B" used on the Heritage Springer.

I'm sure there are full fenders that will fit it... both from HD and/or the aftermarket... The question is which ones and what will it take in parts and modifications to mount it...?
You'll need to assess you bike's fender strut type and width, then find a fender that will fit what you have. You have to consider the tail light configuration, turn signals, wiring, etc... Some may need significant modification and/or additional parts to do what you want, and some may be closer to a bolt-on mod.
You'll need to figure out what you have, what you want, and then explore the possibilities...
