Ignition system

Hi can anyone tell me what ignition system I have on my 1988 FXSTC

Can you be a little more specific? It’s kinda like asking what cam do I have installed? Rather hard to answer.

Well around 1978-79 point systems started to go away, so you should have electronic ignition, unless someone changed things. but like mentioned above, a little vague with the question.

Open it up and look, it's 2 screws on the front of that aftermarket cam cover.

I just got the bike and was just wondering if anyone recognized the timing cover and what ignition system would be in it.
I am going to remove the cover when I get home to hopefully find out what is in there.

Could be any brand make ignition in there, Dynatek, Ultima, Comp-fire. That case does not appear to be OEM.. Possibly a Sputhe case.. Anything can be in that motor including pistons crank you name it.. better off trying to talk to the previous owner or somebody who put that together cuz it's not OEM..
