I rarely get on here as I'm always riding or wrenching on my bike. I have a question about the 2015 Softail Deluxe. What is unique about it? I noticed that there isn't a whole lot of aftermarket parts for it. They seem limited, am I not looking in the right places? Is it a wierd year that is a one off? What gives? I've been lucky enough to get some parts for it, but I noticed a real desert of aftermarket ****. I am working on it and customizing, but running into things and finding parts takes a whole lot of digging and cross referencing. Is it a shitty year to have, the list goes on. It's a work in progress, have it in pieces at the moment getting it prepped for a new paint job. Just curious if some of you have a honey hole for parts.
It is my experience, having a friend that owns a Deluxe, aftermarket parts are not as plentiful as a Heritage or touring bikes. I own a Heritage and can get almost anything I desire.
@YZR It seems even drier for a 2015. Like I said, it's like it's a one off year. Something about it isn't like all the others.
@Bone Doc I'm no tlooking for anything in particular at the moment, but If I do, I'll definitely ask around. Parts just seem scarce and need to be custom made. I do have access to a ton of CNC machines, so getting something fabbed isn't much of an issue,
