Default '06 squeaking rear suspension ?

Guys , i've been starting to hear rear suspension squeeking over the past few years and as of late its getting louder and annoying to the point where now i need to address it. I have stock shocks and about 41k for miles. The noise seems to be near the shocks . Any suspension pivot points that i should focus on ? Do the shocks benifit from some lube at the bushings ? Thanks for the help !

You have a couple of areas that could be causing noise. The swingarm pivot, the shock bushings. Try a little squirt of lube on the shock bushings. The swing arm pivot is more work if you need to address bearings or bushings.
Might try pushing up & down on the seat while someone tries to listen and narrow the noise to a given area.

More than likely it’s the swingarm bushings

So dove right in to the project . Removing the swingarm isn't a horrible job , but the biggest issue for me was loosening the shock bolts. There's NO room to get a socket on the bolts so it's a wrench only and then there's not a lot of room to allow any muscle torque on the wrench. If my scissor jack was more foward on the frame a few inches that would have made it easier to work a wrench. Ended up using some heat at the swingarm to shock mount and then just mongo hammering the wrench and they loosened up. Interesting engineering where Harley uses a spherical bearing instead of typical needle cage type bearings. There's some rust on my bearings and they are very dry of any lube so i'll coat everything with anti-sieze and should be all set. All my bushings and bearings look good as far as wear.

*sorry guys I don't know why my pics look so crappy took them with my phone.
