Default Highway Pegs

Been Looking for a new set of highway pegs for my 01 Heritage. Looking towards the Kuryakyn cruise arms that mount to the floor boards, anybody got em, like em, hate em?? I have a engine guard bar that my old pegs were on, but thought these looked a little better.

I've seen them before on a fatboy and they looked great with the hd flame pegs. I plan on getting some for my harley when I get it.

I have them on my Heritage and absolutely love them. The best addition I have added to my bike. I didn't want the crash or Lindby bar look plus these arms are adjustable for a perfect fit. Check out my review I posted in the "product review" section.

Love 'em! Absolutely Love 'em! You're not all spread eagle like pegs on an engine guard. They're adjustable. Mount is clean.. Looks like a stock add-on to your floorboard.

If you have looooong legs, you'll love them even more than I. I'm on the shortest setting and the break pedel does reach the cruise arm but only at farthest reach which would be totally locked up. Extend it out one more notch and there's no problem.

I'll try to get some pics this weekend at the toy run.. Here's some pics of not great quality.

Those are nice bags. What type are they, detachable, how do you like them?

Thanks,

Miguel

Thanks. They are H-D bags.. One of my ebay purchases.

http://www.harley-davidson.com/gma/g...bmLocale=en_US

Part# 53061-00A

They are hard leather bags with flip-up lid that stays flipped instead of having to hold it.. and they're lockable.
I'm not a huge fan of bags on fatboys but it's too nice having a place to put your junk.

My complaint is that they are a bit small.. and none of the H-D's that I know of are detachable. They were designed I suppose for all softails including the shotguns on stock fatboys, so they're not very deep, but they do nicely.

Here is a pic of a fatboy with the mark 3 cruise arm kit. Looks pretty sharp to me.

I agree with all. They are the best way to go for a clean low profile solution and very adjustable. I’ve had them sense day one on my Fatboy. I have the Iso Pegs, fat pegs and straight pegs which I swap front to back for riding conditions. Just keep an eye out on the front mounting bolt. I tried locktite, now the stud spins a little on the left board.

Do you think these arms will fit with the engine gaurd attached. Or will the guard be in the way? HD has these for me to pick up but I'm not sure they will fit with the guard. And yes, they look really good on that fat boy.

I just put the Kuraken cruise pegs on my 05 deluxe. They are fantastic and great to look at. The mounting plates do not fit and after studying the engineering for a while, I bolted then strait on the the bottom of the floorboards (no issue!!!). I was originaly concernerd that they would be tough withouth the plates but I have not had any issue. I highly endorsed them.
