I've been doing some research on Ape Hangers, mainly because the ones I have (Wild 1 16" Chubbys) may be too tall - currently experimenting on positioning.
However, I found the following article very useful: How to Choose Ape Hangers

The angle is usually called out as pullback and has a measurement tip to tip.
You'll have to lay it out yourself to figure the angle.
I find most are between about 22.5 and 30*. Eyeballing it.

FWIW,
Theyve been on for about half a year now, and have been used multiple times to pick the bike up when Ive dropped it, as well the two times the bike tumbled over onto them.. No bending of the bars.
No offense but that`s a lot of "downs" for 6 months.
Be careful out there man !

Yeah, it is.
Part of it is because I tend to ride adventurously and inappropriately, so falls happen.
But increasingly, its because my Road King is too big and too tall for me nowadays. Never was tall, and with age Im becoming notably less tall. Hence hanging around here, as I eventually transition to a Heritage.
I did Khrome Werks 14". I think I can find the part number if you want it. I really love the height and the angle, not to mention no fatigue or hands and arms going numb.
